Hello. My name is Tanya.
I am your instructor here at New You Yoga. I moved to the Lake Macquarie area in 2014 and found myself surrounded not only by a beautiful natural landscape, but also a wonderful community of friendly and active people.
I began hosting neighbourhood yoga sessions on my back deck and quickly realised I experienced a lot of joy in sharing the mental and physical health benefits of yoga with my friends.
After more than 15 years of daily personal practice, I decided to take the next step and complete formal training as a yoga instructor.
My goal as a teacher is not to try and twist and turn you into a pretzel – unless you want me to! Instead, I hope to guide you in your practice so you can find the level of fitness, strength and relaxation that is right for you.
